My needs

The fixed wireless Internet connection for my home office will be made redundant at the end of July 2019, so I will need replace it with Satellite NBN (25 Mbps). I use time-sensitive applications like remote desktop connections (RDP, VNC & TeamViewer) and video conferencing (Skype). Due to high latency of satellite I would like to automatically switch over these applications to 4G instead of satellite.

After researching the UniFi line of products, I purchased the UniFi USG, US-8-60W and UAP-AC-LITE through my workplace. The USG has a WAN2 port which allows a second Internet connection, so I also purchased the TP-Link TL-WR902AC Wi-Fi Travel Router to connect the Personal Hotspot of my iPhone. This allows my home Internet to use mobile data by tethering the travel router to my iPhone.
